Being the first new casino addition to Atlantic City in thirteen years, The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa was designed to stand apart from the existing market and reach a new level of excellence. Since its grand opening, The Borgata has been Atlantic City’s top grossing casino for all but one month. This destination resort includes a 1.5 million sq. ft. tower, with over 2,000 luxury guest rooms, a 1.5 million sq. ft. low-rise, a 135,000 sq. ft. casino, a 70,000 sq. ft. event space, a 35,000 sq. ft. European-style Spa, 11 restaurants, 9 retail outlets and an indoor pool. Through the use of innovative design, lush landscaping, and influences from Italian and Tuscan architecture, a warm, inviting, yet contemporary, atmosphere was created. The Borgata was built as a place to interact, play, indulge and escape the ordinary. Marnell Corrao Associates sparked Atlantic City’s revival, adding the Las Vegas dazzle to the east coast market.
