As the Director of Sustainability, Mr. Moore is responsible for the successful design and delivery of sustainable or "green" developments operating under Marnell Consulting as EcoWorks. Mr. Moore leads a team of talented and Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) accredited green building professionals offering sustainable solutions for clients who seek long-term, life-cycle benefits for their projects that offer returns beyond just the bottom line.
To date, Mr. Moore and the EcoWorks team have completed over a billion dollars worth of LEED-certified space totaling several million square feet. From initial concept through occupancy, Mr. Moore and the EcoWorks team seek to establish a strong, sustainable partnership with owners providing strategic green solutions that exceed stakeholder goals.
Mr. Moore also serves on the Operations Committee which provides ongoing operational oversight, innovation and improvement strategies for the day-to-day operations of the Marnell Companies.
Mr. Moore attended the University of Florida earning both a Bachelor's and Master's of Science degree from the interdisciplinary College of Design, Construction and Planning. Mr. Moore graduated as an undergrad summa cum laude and as a member of Sigma Lambda Chi. Further, Mr. Moore also holds a Master's in Business Administration from the Warrington College of Business Administration also at the University of Florida.
Mr. Moore is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) with specializations in New Construction, Building Design & Construction as well as Neighborhood Development. Mr. Moore is also a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and serves as a National Chair with the USGBC Center for Green Schools. Finally, Mr. Moore is an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering teaching interdisciplinary courses in sustainability, design, construction and planning.
