• Responsible for collecting, reviewing, and processing subcontractor requisitions, vendor invoices and all supporting documentation required by the accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensures the timely payment of subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices for specific project assignments.
• Prepares the monthly project billings to owners.
• Performs contract/job & subcontract set-up and maintenance.
• Responsible for maintaining organized and accurate records of all paid invoices and control reports.
• Any other services, acts or things necessary or advisable to manage and conduct the business of the Company.
• Other duties may be assigned, if deemed necessary, by the Company.

• Requires extensive communication with vendors and subcontractors via telephone, e-mails, and in person. The position also requires communication with Project Managers, Controllers and Director of Finance via e-mails, phones, or in personal meetings and settings.

• 2 –3 years construction accounting experience, including accounts payable processing.
• Experience with job cost accounting software.
• Computer skills should include Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
• Experience with AIA billing documents.
• A BS/BA in finance or accounting.
• Effective communication skills and a team approach will be necessary.
